Have you ever lost your job?  Did you feel like your life was over?  Did your ego feel destroyed?  Unsolicited transition can be painful.  Our guest today speaks first hand on how traumatic transition can be. Pamela Lue-Hing has experienced it personally and is on a mission to motivate others to reach for their dreams no matter what happens along their journey.

When misfortune happens we tend to blame ourselves. Maybe the company which employed you moved to another state or went out of business and you lost your job. There are so many reasons why people find themselves living through an uninvited change.  Perhaps you suffered an illness or an accident which forced you out of your previous job.  It is a scary situation. What do you do when the bills start piling up?  Whatever the reason you are out of work, and you can tag it anyway that suits you; fired, let go, downsized, long term illness, or whatever; you lost your income. The result can be devastating and demoralizing. You are out of a job!

When we lose something, it is natural to grieve.  Losing a job is shocking, but it is not necessarily a bad thing.  I learned a long time ago that it is not what adversities we face that create stumbling blocks; it is how we react to the issues.  Adversity can be a gift in disguise.

Give yourself the luxury of time to analyze the situation and decide which direction you would like to take next.  Losing a job opens your mind to new horizons and  the possibilities of entrepreneurship.  Small businesses are popping up everywhere and a new era of independent entrepreneurs is dawning.
