Lamar Morgan shares LinkedIn secrets
Every day of my life my inbox gets more and more emails. Between all of the social media applications I use, responses I receive, and spam, sometimes I feel I’m drowning in a sea of technology. The worst thing about Internet technology as wonderful and amazing as it may be, it keeps changing the rules on us. If you’re anything like me just when you think you’ve nailed it, the game plan is different. It’s a simple case of “you can’t live with it, but you can’t live without it”. What does one do about this ever demanding learning curve and the ever changing field of Internet Social Media technology?
It seems nearly impossible to read all the information that’s out there for every application we use. The key is to look for shortcuts and reach out for information from others that simplifies the constant quest for reaching the top of the list in Google. All you have to do is ask for help. For example, if you post in a group on linkedIn, ask if anyone knows some secrets that they’re willing to share to simplify the nightmarish job of posting constantly, blogging, and Tweeting. Just a few weeks ago when I was at my wits end and exhausted, I reached out and asked for help. I received several heartfelt replies along with many suggestions. All were of great value to me. To my surprise I learned a lot just from asking. One such responder was a gentleman by the name of Lamar Morgan. He was a wealth of information.
Lamar Morgan is a bi-coastal and national columnist for Examiner.com. He writes a small business column for the San Francisco Examiner, Ft. Lauderdale Examiner and the Small Business National Examiner. He also operates a social media marketing company called Synergistic Business Marketing.
