There are two words in the English language when used independently of one another can have many different meanings. One word is {what). The definition of the word (What) means to ask a question about anything?

Here is an example of a simple question. What will happen?  An innocent question about the future.

Be careful how you phrase the question.

When you add if to your question the answer will become complicated.

The second word is the word (if). The definition of the word (if) is [on condition– or supposing that] .You can use it to ponder about the future.  For example; [if that happens] or you can use it to analyze the past. An example; [if I had said].

When you pair the two words together they have incredible power, both positive and negative. Choose wisely when using these two words together. When we speak we influence not only ourselves, but also those who hear our words. Words can, heal, inspire, or bring fear.

  • What if we never heard a new born babies cry?
  • What if we could never smelled the fragrant of a rose?
  • What if we could not feel the warmth of a lover’s touch?
  • What if we never saw the beauty of a friends smile?
  • What if I had not been one of the fortunate children who survived polio, but did not get the medical treatment I desperately needed to learn to walk again ?
  • What if ?
