Finding Your Voice Radio
Do you know who you really are? Most of us would immediately say, ” of course we know who we are”.
However let us dig a little deeper. If I asked you if you knew your purpose in life, would you be as prompt with your answer?
It took me years of self-examination to be able to answer that question freely and with confidence. There were times that I found myself going with the flow, not enjoying the direction I was moving in, but unable to speak out about how uncomfortable I was. I found that I worried about whether I was living up to the expectations of others like my parents, siblings, and friends. I paid little regard to what I wanted for myself deep within my psyche. In retrospect, I now realize that I wasted a lot of time. The good news is that I was one of the lucky ones who worked through the clouds of confusion that obscured my vision and stifled my voice.
Learning to speak up in your own voice can be very challenging at times. Many people spend half their life working at a job they really do not enjoy because they have no idea how to break the cycle. They simply cannot find their own voice. We have to be honest with ourselves so that we can truly find our purpose and direction. It is not uncommon to hear people voice a complaint about their life, and yet they are unable to tell you what they really would like to change in their world. How many times have you heard somebody say that they really hated their job? However, at the same time if you asked them what they would rather do, they do not have an answer. The same thing holds true regarding relationship issues. Often it takes guidance and help from an outside trained professional who can assist in the process of finding their voice.
Ask yourself these there questions;
- Are you pleased with the way you’re living your life?
- Do you feel compelled to change something?
- If so, what?

Hi Joel Boggess:
I am one of many fortunate women who has found happiness. I believe it started when I was quite young and found the greatest joy in dancing.
I love every style of dance and learned them all. Singing, playing piano, clarinet, organ, and other instruments. I am presently playing with an orchestra as a percussionist, drummer. I just love learning how to do everything well enough to perform. That’s another exciting thing in my life, performing.
I would like to listen to you on radio, let me know what station and time. I’ll be looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
