Ann and Carter Foster
Today we have a wonderful heart-warming love story. Two people were called to serve God and at the same time they found each other and a lifetime of love. It is a story of faith and perseverance. Today we are going to dance with Pastor Ann Foster on Dancing On Our Disabilities about her life and her book, In My Dreams I Can Dance.
The story is of a lovely lady, Pastor Ann Foster, a polio survivor since the age of 4, and above all she has made her life’s mission to serve God. Ann married Carter 52 years ago. They have also been full-time Church pastors for all 52 years. They were called to preach at a small rural church in North Georgia, while attending Southern Seminary. In 1979 they made a home the Dallas Ft. Worth area, where they still reside and are pastors on staff at Covenant Church Colleyville.
Pastor Ann is the mother of five adult children and 17 grandchildren. Her special gifts in music and ministering, as well as preaching and teaching have blessed many. Ann says, “The grace of God has formed my life.”
Severely physically challenged as a toddler, Ann developed a close relationship with Jesus. She learned to rely on His voice when life became difficult, both emotionally and physically. Ann’s beloved Carter now fights Parkinson’s disease. She needs our prayers while keeps her faith strong despite her newest challenge.
Ann has experienced many personal triumphs and successes, however they pale in comparison to her ability to minister others with love, compassion and a joy that is contagious. Ann’s book ” In My Dreams I Can Dance” is available for sale now. It’s a great read. This is a beautiful story and a beautiful lady. Click here to listen to Ann’s interview:Non-Flash MP3 Direct Link
